Muodolla on väliä! 2009August 24th, 2009 Muodolla on väliä! 2009 (Design matters! 2009) event is organized in Jyväskylän paviljonki on September 2nd to 4th, 2009. The event aims at introducing visitors to the world of design, and in encouraging companies to utilize industrial design in their activities. The event is organized in conjunction with Wood and Bioenergy 2009 exhibition.
 Kirsi Svärd of ED-Design participates in the Design Talkshow held at the event on September 3rd. The subject of her speech is "The customer is always right, kind of", and in it, she will emphasize the need for recognition of customer needs for successful long-term business. A case study of a project done with Pafe Ltd. is used as an example of creating new kind of service business.
