Hyster's design applaudedSeptember 24th, 2009 The Dutch industry-leading magazine Transport en Opslag applauded the new Hyster J1.6XNT forklift's design in its May 2009 issue.
 A spacious cockpit, extensive seat adjustments, good visibility, and newly-designed armrest with finger-controls for the mast all tell of the focus in ergonomics in the new Hyster. The forklift's design team is credited by the magazine: "Clearly, the operator's working environment has been the center of attention in the design."
ED-Design's vehicle design team was in charge of industrial design for the forklift.
