Tapani Hyvönen elected to Icsid Executive Board

International Council of Societes of Industrial Designers (Icsid) has elected Tapani Hyvönen, CEO of ED-Design, as a member of its Executive Board. Hyvönen will be representing Ornamo, the Finnish national organization of designers, at which he was also recently elected as President for season 2010-2012.

"Decisions that have an impact on the future of designers and design are being made all the time. Finns need to step up to national and international forums where initiatives are made and actions are taken", says Hyvönen.

Icsid just selected Helsinki, Finland as World Design Capital 2012.
