Mock-ups and prototypes are valuable tools in evaluating product ideas during the product development process. Our Model Studio offers its clients high-quality design mock-ups and prototypes produced either by NC milling or rapid prototyping.
We have made various mock-up and prototype parts of different sizes -- from tractors to mobile phones. Valtra, Elcoteq, and Nokia have been important clients for ED-Design's Model Studio.
The materials used in NC milling are plastics, polyurethane of various thicknesses, wood and aluminium. Mock-ups and prototypes can be multiplied with molds made of polyurethane, silicon or epoxy. Models can be finished to allow clients to experience the look and feel of the final product.
Suitable original 3D-files are Catia, Pro/E and SolidWorks. Suitable compilers are IGES, STL, Step and Parasolid.
